Scott was born in Upstate New York and later moved to Central Texas, where he attended Texas State University in San Marcos. He moved to Southern California, where he met his wife, Danita, and they’ve been married for 26 years. The couple eventually settled back in Texas and now live in the DFW area. Together, they have two daughters and a son.
