Conducted Txdot research project: “Designing for Deck Stress over PCPs in Negative Moment Regions” and “Implementation of Field Instrumentation Steel Girder Bridge with PCPs", with
experimental investigation of the concrete deck cracking behavior in concrete and steel girder bridge superstructures, including long-term field monitoring and live load testing of 6 bridges during construction, large-scale laboratory testing on three composite bridges with parametric deck reinforcing details, and performed series FEA analysis to determine a practical deck design method.
