A water main break in the Dallas Design District produced flooding and structural distress. We responded to determine the extent and severity of distress. The investigation included an elevation survey to review where the slab had lifted, visual observation of the voids under the slab, and mapping of distress within the space. We developed a repair plan to address the distress, and return the building to its condition prior to the water main break. The repair plan included slab removal in some areas, grout injection below the slab in other areas, and repairs to the distressed finishes.
